In this paper, the system automation transformation is carried out from the perspective of the air compressor. Of course, since the overall automation transformation of the air compressor is too complicated, only the control system is explained here, and the design and application of the system transformation are described. There are many types of air compressors, the common ones are piston type, screw type and centrifugal type, which are widely used in industrial production. In actual production and use, it is found that the original air compressor control system has many shortcomings and deficiencies, such as large starting current, large noise, large power consumption, and unstable operation. Therefore, it is necessary to transform and optimize its control system. According to the actual production experience, the original control system of the air compressor can be transformed by using the programmable inverter technology. The modified control system has stable and reliable operation, obvious energy saving and good economic effect.
