If they are lubed, its quite a meager film. I used mine without any wiping or noticing any surface film. A quick wipe with alcohol would surely remove any bothersome lube residue.

The description says "this is an aftermarket of generic part"? So is this saw made by Xacto? There's other very similar looking mini saws on Amazon.

It says .010 on the package. The micrometer says the blade thickness is .012 and the kerf thickness is .0165. Hope this helps.
