Answer: O believe you can. It’s not made for painting pistols, but pistol type airbrush is possible.

2.Question: what is the base made out of?

Answer: The base is made from hard plastic and the holder is metallic. The upper holder is metal with some protection for the airbrush. It is one of my most used stuff!!

3.Question: Does the kit come with the bracket that holds the pressure regulator?

Answer: No, although it might be possible to modify it to do so. I have my regulator mounted on a separate stand which sits nearby.
