FAQ

1.Question:

Is there a 8 1/4” 60 teeth blade available? Options for this blade size seem hard to come by.

Answer:

You can get a 60 tooth aftermarket blade, however they are usually a thin kerf blade, and will be thinner than the riving knife. In order to use them you would have to remove the riving knife which puts you at risk of kickback, which is quite dangerous. There are kits by Microjig that allows you to make your own thin kerf riving knife alternative but I haven’t found a thin kerf riving knife for this saw. Best bet is to go with a 40 tooth blade from dewalt, which is a decent compromise.

2.Question:

Is it variable speed scroll saw

Answer:

It is like a Sabre saw mounted upside down. One speed. With the right T-Stab blade it functions as a scroll saw.

3.Question:

Ican't tell by the picture, but is this a circular saw or a jigsaw?

Answer:

This is not a circular saw.But this does take jigsaw blades that just slide on! Its a very good table saw and would recommend it to anyone that wants to do little things with it !
