The set includes 10 different caliber blades ranging from 1.0mm to 6.0mm in width. Each caliber comes with 2 blades, for a total of 20 pieces. The specific size increments are designed to accommodate various round etching sheet diameters commonly used in model building. All blades have a uniform thickness of 0.3mm.

What material are these blades made of?

Answer:

The blades are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel with a double-sided open edge design. This ensures smoother drilling, better cutting performance, and excellent corrosion resistance for long-term durability.

What is the advantage of the "flat bottomed" design?

Answer:

Unlike standard drill bits that create pointed or tapered holes, these flat-bottomed blades create perfectly flat-bottomed circular holes. This eliminates the need for additional grinding or sanding to flatten the bottom, making your work more efficient and ensuring that round etching sheets sit flush and level in the hole.

What materials can these blades be used on?

Answer:

These blades are designed for soft to medium-hard materials such as plastic (PS, ABS), resin, wood, and modeling clay. They are not recommended for metal, hard steel, or concrete, as these materials may damage the cutting edges.
