First, the design of the suction pipe should have a sufficient cross-sectional area (for air, the flow rate should not exceed 10-12 m/s), the pipe should be as short as possible, and there should be no sharp turns, no contractions and redundant accessories; The second is to reduce the intake air temperature, which can increase the actual suction volume of the compressor and reduce the specific power consumption of the compressor. The air suction port of the compressor should be located in a cool outdoor place, and if necessary, the method of cooling with water should be adopted; in addition, for the piston type machine, a cooler with high thermal conductivity and easy to clean should be selected, and the cooler should be cleaned regularly. (2) Reduce the pressure loss of the pipeline. When designing or installing pipelines, the length of the pipeline should be shortened as much as possible, unnecessary tees, elbows, valves and other pipeline accessories should be reduced, and pipeline bends should be reduced or elbows with less curvature radius should be used. The filter on the pipe should have small resistance and can easily remove dirt. The size of the pipe section should be such that the air flow rate is not too large. If the air flow rate is Q m3/min, the pipe diameter should be D>20√Q mm. General air does not exceed 8-10 m/s. In addition, the leakage loss of gas should be reduced. The pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the compressor at all levels may leak through the piston rings, air valves, packings, etc., which are not tight, resulting in the loss of exhaust volume and increased power consumption.
